Adventure in the archives

A crew from Uned Myrddin recently went on a creative adventure to discover what goes on behind the scenes at the Carmarthenshire Archives. During their visit, they viewed a wonderful selection of documents, photographs and maps held at the Archives.

Back at school, they worked with artists, Seren Stacey and Teena Gould, where they learned about techniques for printing, camera-less photography and some ceramic techniques. Using these new skills, they created a bespoke piece of artwork for Carmarthen Archives that is now on permanent display in the archive search room.

To all the staff at Uned Myrddin, Carmarthenshire Archives and the brilliant learners, thank you for your fantastic work.
